Kane Logistics Adds Talented Team Members

April 15, 2020 -- Kane Logistics has further strengthened its operations and human resources capabilities with the addition of top tier hires from the industry. Dan Rubio and Brad Dixon join KANE in operations, Osama Mansoori in engineering, John Ross in solutions design, and Ryann Middleton and Susana Cobian with the human resources team.

Dan Rubio recently joined Kane Logistics as the General Manager for our Allentown, PA facility,Dan Rubio which handles product for Hain Celestial and Boise. Dan possesses more than fifteen years of experience in supply chain. His previous stops were with World Class Distribution, CEVA, and Siemens. Dan is a graduate of Tecnologico de Monterrey, Guaymas Mexico, where he received a bachelor’s degree in food technology. He also has his MBA from Lehigh University. When asked what drew him to KANE, Dan responded, “I’m looking forward to joining an organization with such bright future and with people excited to take it there.” Dan reports to Rich Reilly, Senior Director, Operations.

Brad Dixon is the new General Manager at our Fontana, CA operation reporting to EddieBrad Dixon (Fontana) McHenry, Senior Director, Operations. Fontana is home to Agfa, Jeffrey Court, Nutrabolt, and Hub Group product. Brad has over twenty years of logistics knowledge gathered from such companies as A.P. Moller – Maersk, Port Logistics Group, Weber Logistics, and XPO. Brad holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University, located in Olathe, KS. Brad resides in Riverside, CA with his wife, Vung, and their four children. Brad finds that KANE Code tenet 5: Treat customers and associates like family – most relatable.

Osama Mansoori joined Kane Logistics as our newest industrial engineer. Additionally, he will Osama Mansoori (Admin)also work in our continuous improvement department and reports to John Ross. Osama is a graduate of Goldey-Beacom College with a bachelor’s in business administration and management. He also possesses a Master of Science from case Western Reserve University in operations research and supply chain management. Osama is a Lean Six Sigma green belt and is a volunteer youth mentor. His previous experience includes Albertsons and the Cleveland Clinic. He enjoys the fast-growing pace and commented, “KANE seems to be in a great position to increase their significance in the industry.”

John Ross joined Kane Logistics as Senior Director, Solutions Design. John is a logistics veteranJohn Ross with over twenty-two years of experience in 3PL and transportation with DHL Supply Chain and XPO. Additionally, he has over five years of operations knowledge from high volume food manufacturers, General Mills and Quaker Oats. John holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Penn State University. He lives in the Mechanicsburg, PA area with his wife, Heather, and their two children. John commented that what attracted him to KANE was “the company’s size and history in a region where I’ve lived for more than thirty years.” John reports to KANE’s Chief Operations Officer, Patrick Coughlin.  

Ryann Middleton joins the KANE HR team as a Generalist focused entirely on our business Ryann Middleton (Sams OH)partner, Sam's Club. Kane Logistics operates three distribution centers in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan dedicated to supporting Sam’s Club retail stores. Ryann received her associate’s degree from Stark State College of Technology in North Canton, OH. Most recently, Ryann was with electronic manufacturing company, Powell. She also has experience working at Newell Brands. Ryann stated that she is looking forward to working with the Sam’s Club team. When asked why she chose Kane Logistics, Ryann said, “KANE seems to have a strong and supportive working culture. Having a great teamwork culture sets the tone for the success of the whole company.” Ryann reports to Megan Augis, Senior Manager, HR.

Susana Cobian’s role is the Bilingual Human Resources manager based in our newest Susana Cobian (WJ OHIO)operation in the Columbus, OH region and reports directly to Kim Mallonn, Senior Director, HR. Susana is an experienced human resources leader with a history of working in the manufacturing, logistics and production industries. Susana comes to Kane Logistics from Mauser Packaging Solutions where she was the regional HR business partner. Before that, Susana was with business supplies and equipment company, N. Wasserstrom and Sons and also MetLife. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. Susana stated that what makes Kane Logistics a great place to work – “They embrace diversity and integrity.”

Mike Gardner, President and CEO, commented on the recent additions stating, “As we continue to expand our operations into new markets and with existing customers, we’re focused on bringing in the best talent available. Our goal is to deliver a great customer experience. We welcome the most recent hires to our KANE family.”
